Mulán: They postpone their premiere for the coronavirus

Disney made the tough decision to cancel the premiere of Mulán in China indefinitely, all because of the coronavirus. The movie was scheduled to premiere this March.

This was declared by Disney CEO Bob Iger, clarifying that although the film does not have a distribution date for this country on the horizon, they do not consider leaving the expected film in China, so they will make the announcement at some time.

The film companies that distribute the films that arrive in China have also been affected, ”Iger began later:“ We had a premiere scheduled for March, Mulán, which obviously produces great interest in China. It will arrive in China at some point, but we are not sure when. ”

Currently the market in Asia, is one of the most coveted for the industry, as there is a large number of population and demand. In many cases the collection of these countries can save or condemn a movie, as it has a large percentage in the world.

Mulán's production has an approximate heat of 290 million dollars, which is 10 million less than Avengers: Endgame, so reaching the Chinese market is the key to its profit, so it is certain that it will arrive.
